Terms of
use of the online shop
1.1 These
rules are binding on the state limited liability company "Latvian National
Opera and Ballet", registration number 40103208907, address in Riga,
Aspazijas bulvāris 3, e-mail address: opera@opera.lv (LNOB) and persons using
the LNOB online shop on the website https://biletes.opera.lv (Online shop),
which is administered by LNOB.
1.2. A
person who uses the Online Shop to obtain information or to purchase a ticket
to an event or an LNOB Gift Card may be a natural or legal person (the
Purchaser).
1.3 By
using the Online Shop and purchasing tickets or a gift card (Tickets), the
Buyer agrees to these Terms of Use of the Online Shop, the Ticketing Privacy
Policy published below, the Cookie Policy published here:

2.
Purchase and collection of tickets
2.1 Tickets
may be purchased by the Customer after entering the required contact details or
by registering or logging on to the Online Shop.
2.2 The
Online Shop shall allow 15 (fifteen) minutes from the time the first Ticket is
added to the shopping basket for payment of Tickets placed in the online shop.
Payment of the Purchase may be made using a payment card (VISA or MasterCard)
and via the Internet Banking indicated in the Online Shop or LNOB Gift Card.
2.3 By
making payment in the Online Shop, the Buyer confirms that the purchase
corresponds to his/her choice.
2.4 Tickets
purchased in the Online Shop shall be sent to the e-mail address indicated by
the Buyer no later than one hour after confirmation of the purchase at the
Online Shop.
2.5 Tickets
purchased at a discount are valid only in conjunction with a document
confirming the visitor's specific status. Any visitor who cannot present a
valid document (ID) with the discounted ticket will be denied entry to the
event. In such a case, the visitor is entitled to pay the difference between
the full ticket price and the price at which the discounted ticket was
purchased at the LNOB box office in order to attend the selected event.
2.6 LNOB
reserves the right to cancel any purchase if there are reasonable grounds to
suspect that the transaction may be fraudulent.
3.1
Purchased tickets shall be accepted for return only in the event of
cancellation, postponement or change of venue of the event.
3.2 The
cancellation, postponement or change of venue of an event shall be publicly
announced by LNOB on the LNOB website www.opera.lv immediately after such
decision has been taken. The Seller shall refund the purchase price of tickets
purchased in the online shop to the Buyer within two weeks after the public
announcement of the decision to cancel, reschedule or change the venue of the
event to the account from which the payment for the purchase of the ticket was
made.
4. Use
of data provided by the Buyer
4.1 The
Buyer provides the information about themselves required for the purchase and delivery
of Tickets in the Online Shop of his own free will. The Buyer is responsible
for the accuracy of the information provided.
4.2 The
data provided by the Buyer shall be used by LNOB solely in the interests of the
Buyer in accordance with the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Rules.
4.3 The
Buyer may edit and delete the data submitted.
4.4 The
Buyer is responsible for the secure use and storage of the Buyer's Online Shop username
and password.
5. Other
5.1 In the
event of unauthorized use of the Online Shop, access to it may be terminated.
5.2
Disputes shall be settled by negotiation. If this fails, the dispute shall be
settled in court in accordance with the procedure established by the laws and
regulations of the Republic of Latvia.
PRIVACY
POLICY
1.
Introduction
The purpose
of this Privacy Policy is to provide information on the processing of data of
natural persons by the Latvian National Opera and Ballet (LNOB). This Privacy
Policy applies to the data of natural persons collected from the data subject -
LNOB customer (User) within the framework of ticket sales, regardless of the
form or medium in which the personal data is provided (electronic, paper, or
oral).
The
Controller shall take care of the privacy and personal data protection of the
Users, respect the rights of the Users to the lawfulness of the processing of
personal data in accordance with the applicable legislation: the Regulation of
the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 No 2016/679 on the
protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data
and on the free movement of such data (the Regulation) and other applicable legislation
in the area of privacy and personal data processing.

4.
Purposes of processing, legal basis for processing
The
Controller processes the User's personal data in order to conclude a ticket or
gift card purchase contract with the User and to ensure its performance.
The
processing is based on the following legal grounds:
- for the conclusion
and performance of the contract - at the User's request;
- with the
consent of the data subject, the User;
- to comply
with the requirements of laws and regulations - to comply with the obligations
of LNOB under external laws and regulations;
- for the
purposes of ensuring the legitimate interests of LNOB.
5.
Categories of personal data
The
Controller processes the following categories of personal data - name, surname,
e-mail or postal address, IP address, telephone number, content of the message
or letter, etc.
6.
Categories of recipients of personal data
The data is
disclosed to those employees of the Data Controller who need it for the
performance of their direct job duties.
7.
Categories of data subjects
Categories
of data subjects - current, former, and potential customers of LNOB.
8.
Transfer of data outside Latvia
The data
received is not and will not be transferred outside the European Union or the
European Economic Area, nor will it be transferred to any international organization.
9.
Duration of data retention
Unless
otherwise stated in the data protection instructions, the Controller shall
delete the User's personal data within three months of the date on which the
reason for processing the data no longer applies, unless the Controller has a
legal obligation to continue to retain the data (for example, but not limited
to, for accounting or litigation purposes).
10. Access
to personal data by the data subject
LNOB shall
provide the User with the exercise of the data subject's rights set out in the
regulatory enactments, including information regarding the processing of the
User's data, the right to request access to his/her personal data, as well as
to request the Controller to supplement, rectify or delete them, to restrict
processing or to object to processing, insofar as these rights do not conflict
with the purpose of the data processing (conclusion or performance of a
contract).
The User
may submit a request for the exercise of his/her rights in writing in person,
at the registered office of the Controller (on presentation of an identity
document) or by e-mail, signed with a secure electronic signature.
Upon
receipt of the User's request to exercise his/her rights, the Manager shall
verify the User's identity, assess the request, and execute it in accordance
with the laws and regulations.
The User
shall not be entitled to receive information if the disclosure of such
information is prohibited by law in the field of national security, national
defense, public security, criminal law, as well as for the purpose of ensuring
the financial interests of the State in tax matters or the supervision of
financial market participants and macroeconomic analysis.
11.
Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority
The User
has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (State Data
Inspectorate) at Blaumaņa iela 11/13, Riga or at the following e-mail address: info@dvi.gov.lv.
1. Tickets
purchased in the Online Shop shall be sent to the e-mail address indicated by
the User within one hour after the confirmation of the purchase in the Online
Shop.
2. Tickets purchased
in the Online Shop are available to registered users of the Online Shop in the
My Purchases section after authentication in the Online Shop.
